At the end of November 2023, 15 students, as well as lecturers of the Department of Management, visited the University of Applied Sciences Zwickau in Germany as part of the DAAD project on SDG Sustainable Development Goals. Also, students of the dual degree Master's program in Development Economics took an active part in academic events together with lecturers.

In the context of cooperation, the initiatives of organizing visits of AIU lecturers to Zwickau for short-term research projects were discussed. Researchers and young Ph.D. students from Zwickau are also planning to visit the Silk Road Research Center in AIU.
