On November 18, 2019, the Law Program hosted an open lecture on the topic: "Copyright Protection System in the Kyrgyz Republic." Mrs. Yrys Tursunalieva , Head of the Department of Copyright and Related Rights of the State Service for Intellectual Property and Innovations, and Mr. Joodarbek Zhumabaev, Director of the State Patent and Technical Library under the State Service for Intellectual Property and Innovations, came to visit us.
Our guests talked about the main problems of copyright protection in Kyrgyzstan and abroad, about the activities and projects of the IP Office. Students enthusiastically listened to the lecture and took an active part in the discussion.
